This is a petty album. A mad album. A sad album. A suicidal album. An album I don't want to put out. An album I need to put out. An album I want certain people to listen to. An album I want nobody to listen to. This album was written shortly before, during, and after my depressive episode in late 2021. Most of the songs are about certain people that made my episode better, worse, or people I wish I had more time with. it's honest. It's raw around the edges. Almost all emotions are blended into one here. Feelings of hurt, happiness, betrayal, loneliness, and everything in between. If Astrobleme was an album strung together like a movie, or a book, this is more of 13 tapes you play to get a story. I know that is heavily ironic considering the themes in this album, but it's true. I need some people to listen to this album to know how deeply they fucked me up. They fucked me up in ways I will never recover from. Ways I wouldn't wish upon anyone else. Ways I haven't told anyone else about. I need people to listen to this to know how bad they fucked me up. To know that hurt is real. And it is an awful, awful thing. And at the end, I need this album. Because if this didn't exist, then the pain wouldn’t be worth anything.
